Ive been with Santos and staff for about 16 years. This shop has been a marvelous blessing, and as a single woman I know I can trust them both to recommend what is needed AND then to do the job skillfully. Santos stands behind all work, is honest and I totally trust him. Thankful.

I would not recommend this shop for any type of transmission work. Couple things that really "grinds my gears". 1. When calling for an appointment they did not state any pricing about an inspection fee; which other shops generally do for free. This cost +$350. I am okay if it costs, but it would have been better service to state the amount over the phone before showing up and committing. 2. The work they quoted was 2x others in price, after calling around multiple shops, and well above the dealer. Perhaps they didn't want the work, which if true, they should just state that.

I really can't say enough good things about Santos and the team at DS Auto. I had an engine blow on me and they fought tooth and nail with the warranty company to make sure the repairs were taken care of. Their main concern is the customer and it shows.

I can't say enough good things about DS Auto Experts, who recently completed mechanical repairs on our 2008 Toyota Highlander. From the moment we brought our vehicle in, Mr. Prado and his experienced team provided professional, honest, and courteous service. They took the time to clearly explain the necessary repairs, answered all our questions, and provided regular progress updates. Our Highlander is running better than it has in years, and we have complete confidence in the repairs they performed. The quality of the work DS Auto Experts has done on all our vehicles has kept us coming back for over 30 years. We 100% recommend this company, which genuinely values integrity and customer service.

Staff is disrespectful tries to make you feel stupid.

My AC went out in my vehicle and I was sent to DS Auto. From the moment I walked in they treated me like family. From the little dog that greeted me at the door, all the way up to Santos the owner. Everyone made sure my experience with them was smooth and hassle free. The work they did was top notch. Other shops said it would take about a week to complete the job, but DS Auto competed my vehicle in a matter of days. I would highly recommend DS Auto to anyone needing work done to their vehicle.

DS Auto Experts is outstanding in every way- Handled my courtesy travel ride to <> from shop...No upselling or attempt to cut corners, and, in my 120 point service inspection ticket of my 2007 Tacoma, Santos and team outlined every needed item in detail and priority. As I am retired and now on a fixed income and really appreciated the honest conversation on what approach to use to tuneup and protect my 20 yr old 1 owner(me), 270K baby. I still have some less critical items for when I can afford to get them done - After a couple of Central Valley to SoCal jaunts, I feel like it handled as when took it for a test drive in 2007 and off the lot new. Love at first site with my TACO and now I feel like I have a caretaker in DS Auto Experts. MUCH respect! Thank you till next time !

The tech knocked off ~300 $ on a “TBD” item that turned out un-neccessary at this point. As I am retired and now on a fixed income and really appreciated the honest conversation on what approach to use to tuneup and protect my 20 yr old 1 owner(me), 270K baby. I still have some less critical items for when I can afford to get them done - Result : After a couple of Central Valley to SoCal jaunts,(500m rountriip sine service , I feel like it handled as when I took it for a test drive in 2007 and off the lot new. Terrible shop. Terrible service. They are scammers. I brought my truck in for a transmission rebuild and I told them it was the transmission and they charge me a diagnostic fee, they then tell me what I already knew so I tell them to go ahead and rebuild it. I then ask them to fix my gauge cluster and the 2 steering wheel buttons that didn’t work and fix whatever is causing the check engine light (knock sensors) they said they could do it. I get a call about a week later and am told my trucks ready to be picked up. I paid $2,000 for my transmission to still not shift out of 1st gear none of my steering wheel buttons work and all they did was clear the code for the check engine light. It popped up as I was redlining home. This shop sucks and will scam you.
